CARE
  • Wash with like colors in cold water.
  • Wash on Delicate Cycle.
  • Do not bleach.
  • To avoid wrinkles, put apron in dryer with a clean, damp washcloth. Nothing else. Run the dryer on high for 10-15 minutes and remove apron. The steam from the washcloth will remove the wrinkles.
  • Iron on low setting if you prefer.

Impressive Aprons

After not being thrilled with what I received from Hedley & Bennett, I wound up here. Ordered 3 aprons for work, and I’m happy as can be! Crossbacks really help after a long day baking, or working the line, and I love the pockets. Just follow the wash instructions, and you’ll be set. I’ll probably end up ordering a couple more so I have one for every shift. 12/10.

Never Had an Apron that was Comfortable

Until now. In fact I’ve only had a couple of aprons and both tied around the neck. Neither was comfortable and I didn’t wear them very often. The crossback solved that issue. Almost want to throw it on just to fry eggs. Great product, well made.

Absolutely perfect apron

I had been searching online for hours upon hours for the perfect apron for painting. I had come across a lot of alright brands and options, but none of them felt "just right". Out of all the options, RT's aprons felt the best to me, so I went ahead and ordered it. When I received it, it was so much nicer than I expected it would be. I absolutely love it.

We all agree: favorite aprons EVER!

We are using the classic aprons in the kitchen and love them so much. Can’t ask for more from an apron! Quality, comfort, style, hang them to dry and no ironing necessary. We’ve had FoH staff wearing them as well but they proved to be a little too much apron for that, and so we just got this ‘bistro’ style, and everyone is extremely happy…upon trying it on, one server was quite jubilant, loudly proclaiming it to her favorite apron ever.

Tried & True Bang for your Buck

Great apron at a fair price, this our company go to for new chef aprons. We're all high volume stores, so the aprons truly get tested daily. We are all very happy with all our aprons purchases thus far. Only critique I would have is I'd like to see a towel / rag holder on the side of the apron so you don't have to have it in your waist tie.

Okay, “biggest” fear was straps required rear tying because I’m close to 220 lbs, but no problem tying my charcoal beauty in front. Phew.
Now on to practical apron considerations. It’s well constructed, the pockets are useful, the fabric substantial, the little ticking embellishment tastefully handled, and it happily reminds me of favorite NYC steak house waiter garb from forty years ago. I love this long half apron!

Absolute joy of an apron!

Reluctant Threads did what few companies ever do; they towed that thin line between value and quality. The apron is made of high-quality material and provides everything I need in a professional kitchen from coverage across the torso, hips, and legs, convenient sharpie and pen access, to straps that are comfortable and grippy, which ensures they stay in place throughout my shift. So happy with the purchase that I told my wife I needed to add a new color to the rotation, which at that point would bring my total for two Reluctant Threads aprons to what other companies charge for one of theirs.
