CARE

WASHING

  • Wash with like colors in cold water.
  • Delicate cycle is best.
  • Do not bleach.
  • Avoid fabric softeners, they can leave waxy residues.

DRYING

  • Dry on Low Heat or Air Dry.
  • To avoid wrinkles, put apron in dryer with a clean, damp washcloth. Nothing else. Run the dryer on high for 10-15 minutes and remove apron.
  • The steam from the washcloth will remove the wrinkles.
  • Line dry or lay flat

Absolutely perfect apron

I had been searching online for hours upon hours for the perfect apron for painting. I had come across a lot of alright brands and options, but none of them felt "just right". We all agree: favorite aprons EVER!

We are using the classic aprons in the kitchen and love them so much. Can’t ask for more from an apron! Quality, comfort, style, hang them to dry and no ironing necessary. We’ve had FoH staff wearing them as well but they proved to be a little too much apron for that, and so we just got this ‘bistro’ style, and everyone is extremely happy…upon trying it on, one server was quite jubilant, loudly proclaiming it to her favorite apron ever.

Great apron at a fair price, this our company go to for new chef aprons. We're all high volume stores, so the aprons truly get tested daily. We are all very happy with all our aprons purchases thus far. Only critique I would have is I'd like to see a towel / rag holder on the side of the apron so you don't have to have it in your waist tie.

Okay, “biggest” fear was straps required rear tying because I’m close to 220 lbs, but no problem tying my charcoal beauty in front. Phew.
Now on to practical apron considerations. It’s well constructed, the pockets are useful, the fabric substantial, the little ticking embellishment tastefully handled, and it happily reminds me of favorite NYC steak house waiter garb from forty years ago. I love this long half apron!

Honestly, I’ve never given much thought to aprons; what makes one good Vs. bad or even what looks nice. This apron feels well made and it looks very flattering on me (my wife agrees IYKWIM).

Very light on the body. Looks amazing. The color choices that are displayed are awesome, looks better in person. Pockets are good enough to carry small notebooks, pens, spoons, etc… The pocket on the top of the apron fits well for my thermometer, sharpie, pen, highlighter and plating tweezers. I’d personally say this is better then Hedley and Bennet. I own some Hedley and Bennet cross back aprons. I feel like they’re heavier then the crossback aprons that Reluctant has. In my opinion I’d go for Reluctant threads any day compared to Hedley and Bennet. Beautiful, light, affordable, durable and adjustable to your movements.
